Now that in some geographic locations the weather is starting to turn cooler, do you change the type of yarn(s) you knit with?
Ok, this one does not really apply to me. Why not? This is my first time knitting from summer into fall/winter. So I don't really know what I will do. I do know that the thought of making blankets does seem more appealing, and I might get going on the ripple I'm making for my father. Also, as much as I would love to build a stash, my husband will not let me. I know how that sounds, but currently he is the only one bringing home a paycheck, and I have a very hard time asking for money for yarn/needles. He insists that I use what I have first. As you can tell, he is NOT a knitter, and does not understand the stash acquisition syndrome that all knitters have...anyway I digress.
I would probably lean more toward heavier yarns if I could get ahold of some, LOL. but since I have a hard time explaining my need for more yarn....I will use what I have (or hide it somewhere!)

hi anita!
like your husband i have tendencies to want to knit from my stash and what i already have (that's the practical side) but sometimes it's just so hard not to buy/want new yarn for a different project (and that's the knitter in me!)!
anyways, just letting you know that you have a fall into autumn dishcloth swap partner lurking around.
i'm looking forward to getting to know you and spoiling you this season!

Just wait... You WILL find places to hide your stash, and I was you 2 years ago when I first started.
