Spine-y

Here is a bookmark pattern for you. It can be adapted to whatever size you want. Very simple, and on bigger needles and thread, it goes pretty fast. I was going to save it for a while, but I saw a dishcloth in a similar pattern, and thought I better get hopping.

Spine-y

Materials: any size yarn with appropriate size thread. I used Paton's Grace 100% mercerized cotton on size 2 needles.

CO 16

R1: knit
R2: k2tog, yo, k4, yo, k2tog,k2tog, yo, k4, yo, k2tog

Repeat until desired length, End with a knit row, bind off and block.

Enjoy!

Anita, that is so lovely. I can see how pretty it would look in a cotton thread with a metallic material in it. Was it hard to make?
