I am a member of the group Shawls and Scarves Etc, owned by RaAnn. We are doing our first quarterly shawl KAL. I wasn't going to participate, since I am not a shawl wearer, mainly because I don't have any. But after seeing the scarves from the monthly Scarf KAL (on the same list) I had to give it a shot.
I am so glad I did. So far, my shawl is turning out beautifully. I like the way the KAL is progressing so far. We only had to do 5 repeats, which is some 20 rows, but it went very fast. I even frogged about 4 times and finished the week's rows in 2 days.
I am using a size 11 needle with Caron Simply Soft. The shawl is turning out real lacy and soft. I can't wait till Friday when I get the next installment!

Very pretty. That's Feather & Fan or Old Shale pattern so far. I just finished a triangular shawl where I used that stitch pattern for the last third. Now I need to get a photo.
